Vehicle Accident with Entrapment on River Road PDF Print E-mail

Lancaster Countywide Communications dispatched Engine 62-1 to assist Washington Boro Fire Company for a vehicle accident with entrapment around 11:00 AM on October 10, 2009 in the 2200 block of River Road. Chief 7-8 quickly added a MediVac due to heavy entrapment. Engine 62-2 assisted Engine 81-1 to set up a landing zone for the MediVac helicopter. The patient was flown to LGH for treatment. Responding were Highville, Washington Boro, Millerville, Columbia 1, Susquehanna EMS, and Conestoga EMS.

The Highville Volunteer Fire Company was Dispatched for A Drill To assist New Danville Station 55. Engine 1 and the Tanker Participates in this drill for Aprox   Crews worked the incident for aprox. 1 1/2 Hours.
